Alexa Chung's Style Diary for Vogue

Some people make looking chic so depressingly easy. Unlike the rest of us who have to throw at least six outfits onto the bed in fits of despair at never-having-anything-to- wear, have one minor breakdown and finally leave the house in an outfit that mostly works. Others seem to wake up, throw whatever they can find on and always look good. It's really quite sick making. Alexa Chung, "it girl," TV presenter and contributing editor to British Vogue, is perhaps one of the best examples of People Like That. She even has the requisite muso boyfriend (Arctic Monkey's Alex Turner). Luckily, for those of us less sartorially advanced, or just seeking out inspiration, Chung is doing a daily style diary for UK Vogue throughout the month of February. Each day she uploads a phone snap from wherever she is of what she is wearing. My favourite so far is actually of Chung at a petrol station. Even though she claims that her outfit is "boring," it's comforting to know that even the super stylish have to pump petrol.
